Fundamental to the nature of the one true God is that He exists in a plurality beyond our understanding. Not only is this clearly demonstrated from scripture, but Beresford also shows how only such a God could explain existence as it actually is. He also demonstrates clearly how not only our relationship with ourselves, but also with others, is contingent upon the fact and nature of the relationships experienced by the three divine Persons Who exist within the Godhead. The key to this is the realisation that in the Bible the Lord frequently speaks of Himself in the plural, but that whenever we speak of Him it can only ever be in the singular. An extremely important talk!
