This Question Time arose out of an enquiry regarding Jesus’ teaching about church unity in the light of today’s ecumenical movement, and with particular reference to the Catholic Church. This led to a critique of Catholicism, both historically and doctrinally, with Beresford unequivocally outlining the position any faithful, Bible-believing Christian ought to take concerning it. Few believers today actually realise the truth about the Catholic faith and stand in great danger of associating with things which the Lord would have us steer well clear of. This is not an easy talk, but with deception so widespread amongst believers today it is nevertheless much needed.
