The Christian life is one of being constantly called to step out of the security of one’s boat to walk with Jesus on the sea of life, thus sharing His experience. This examination of Peter’s attempt to do this reveals two things: firstly, he by no means had a monopoly on sinking, it happens to all who really do obey the Lord; and secondly, it is far better to step out and sink than to simply stay in the boat all nice and comfortable and just float aimlessly around in it. This talk will greatly encourage all who really are serious about following the Lord.
