In this Question Time session the subject raised was that of judging. Is it ever right to judge people? Or is it always wrong? In answering this Beresford clears up the confusion as to what the Bible does actually say about it and explains why Jesus, in the Sermon on the Mount, taught against judging others, whilst Paul positively instructed the Christians in Corinth to judge each other. The occasion of Jesus’ words, “Let him who is without sin cast the first stone…” is also thoroughly reviewed, with a clear demonstration that all is not necessarily what it appears to be. If more Christians were to gain an understanding of the subject matter in this talk, and then act on it, we would see a more robustly biblical Christianity in our country today.
